Cancer Pain Common Among Survivors

More than 40 percent of cancer survivors say they experienced cancer pain since their diagnosis and many have current cancer-related chronic pain, according to research by the University of Michigan Health System. The study, funded by the Lance Armstrong Foundation, provides new insight on issues facing the growing number of U.S. cancer survivors. The results were published in the American Cancer Society’s journal Cancer.
